Hi! My name is Jin Hee Park. I teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to non-native English speakers. My goal for each of my students is to be proficient in English (reading/ listening, critical thinking, writing, and speaking), using STEAM plus 3Rs Approach for them to acquire the 21st Century 4Cs Skills: Collaboration, Creativity, Critical Thinking, and Communication which are easily woven into a quality STEAM lesson.

STEAM plus 3Rs means Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics plus Reading, wRiting, and Relationships (Please see the ENGLISH PRO Learning Culture).

As for my education and teaching experience, I am a graduate of Universidad de Santa Isabel High School, a graduate of the University of the Philippines, Diliman, under B.S. Psychology, and a graduate of Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood/ Child Development and Education, major in Master Teacher and Elementary Teacher Education at Glendale Community College in California, U.S.A. In 2000, I received my TEFL/TEYL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language/ Teaching English to Young Learners) certificates from Chichester College, UK, for Young Children and Young Adults. Since then, I have committed myself to academic excellence, respect for diversity, and dedication to creating a community of life-long learners.

나의 교육 및 강의 경험에 관해서는 Universidad de Santa Isabel High School을 졸업하고 필리핀국립 대학교 Diliman에서 심리학 학사 학위를 받았습니다. 미국 캘리포니아 글렌데일 커뮤니티 칼리지에서 유아/아동 발달 및 교육에대한 수석교사 및 초등교사 과정을 전공하여 준학사 학위를 취득했습니다(이력서 참조). 2000년에 나는 어린이와 청소년을 위한 TEFL/TEYL (외국어로서의 영어 교육) 수료증을 받았습니다. 그 이후로 계속해서 나는 학업적 전문성, 다양성 존중, 평생 학습자 커뮤니티를 만드는 데 헌신하였습니다.
